We were so blessed to be able to take our first family photo. Emersyn had just turned 3 months in these pictures.

12- 16 weeks

November was a wonderful month for her. She has grown so much this month and has developed quite a personality. She laughs so much and smiles constantly. We were disappointed by the election results, but very pleased that Senator Roberts won his re-election. We attended his party on election night. She started baby cereal this month and is slowly getting used to the spoon. She had her first Thanksgiving at our house. She got to play with Jason's family and her cousins. After thanksgiving we met my family in Wichita and then ventured back to Garden City. It was wonderful for her to get to see my family again...she sure has grown from the last time they saw her. She just recently went to the doctor for her 4 month shots and well check. She is now 26 1/4 in long. That is in the upper 97%. When looking at clothes for her she is measuring in the 9 month range in length. WOW she is soo tall. We are sure she will plateau at some point. On December 4, she rolled over for the first time. We were so proud of her. She constantly rolls over now and gets mad if she can't get back to her back. She hikes those legs up under her and gets her head in the air. We joke that it should be a matter of days before she is crawling and talking. She is quite the talker. She sure is talking about something...we just wish we could understand what all that babbling meant.
Three days short of her 4 month birthday....she rolled over. Here is the picture of her just doing it.

Posing with her great-grandfather.

We went to Garden City over the Thanksgiving holiday. She is here with my grandmother.

We have a Thanksgiving tradition to host Thanksgiving at our house. We had A LOT to be thankful for this year.

First time trying out the high chair.

Emersyn & Grandpa Holmes. Her shirt says "Grandpa's little princess."

This girl LOVES bath time.

Daddy taught her how to stick her tongue out on command.

This is just my absolute favorite picture of her. Pure innocence. I hope she never looses this.

She always has her hands in her mouth. She sometimes appears to share a hand with you.

She's slowly getting used to the saucer.

Smiling away.

This was her 16 week shot!

The girl of 1,000 different looks.

On election night we attended US Senator Pat Roberts watch party. We watched the results in Sen Roberts hotel suite, after he won (which was not long), we all went downstairs to the party where he gave his speech at the Plaza here Topeka. Jason worked for the Senator in DC for a summer before his senior year in college.
